i'm having a lovely summer so far.
i have been berry picking and swimming. i sat with my parents while they had a fire in the fire pit in their backyard - my dad even popped popcorn over the fire. i've been to parties. i've taken long walks and long drives.
i've marveled at the beauty of this place i get to call home. lakes, hills, waterfalls, wildlife... it amazes me.
i need to remember this feeling in the winter, when i wish this place didn't even exist, and i'm chattering my teeth 24 hours a day.
