today was eric's mom's 62nd birthday.
when i got home from work, eric and i took her out to the smart monkey cafe. we all ordered the same thing - german burgers done medium, with sweet potato fries, with coffee to drink. i hope they didn't think we were in some kind of weird cult.
then we went to lowes and got some more seeds, and bulbs, and i got connectors for the hula hoops i will be making at stitch-n-bitch on sunday.
we came home and ate cream puffs and white cake with buttercream frosting from plastic plates shaped like watermelon slices.
i think it was one of the best birthdays I'VE ever had.
